Filming of a doctor doctor joke





In this experiment we had to use our knowledge of the 180 degree rule and match-on-match action by including a funny doctor doctor joke which we researched and had to include it in a conversation with dialogue before saying the joke.

In the first experiment we had with film making we didn't know any techniques of how to film so we just filmed from what we thought to do. But in this experiment after we had learnt the different techniques of the 180 degree rule and match-on-match action techniques.

After we had filmed our three different scenes of the conversation we uploaded it onto iMovie and began editing it. I started by editing the match-on-match with the actor opening the door in two scenes, cutting it short of the same action from two point of views but as a continuos shot. As well as including the two angles of the actors talking and making the joke with laughter added at the end.

    Very good - both match-on-action and the 180 degree rule are evident here. Can you think of any ways in which the filming of this conversation could have been better?
