INT. IN THE NEW HOUSE – DAY
A family has recently moved into a new house with boxes scattered around the house with a removal van waiting outside. Friends helping unpack and someone asks where something is.
Walking into the house:
PERSON 2
I’m glad you’re not moving school as well as homes.
PERSON 1
Oh I couldn’t move school as well.
PERSON 3
This looks like a really nice home.
PERSON 1
Yeah, I love it already!
Unpacking boxes:
PERSON 1
Where are the cushions?
PERSON 3
Over here, in this box.
PERSON 1
Places cushions on the sofa.
PERSON 2
Where shall I put this box of tools?
PERSON 1
Under the stairs please.
PERSON 2
Walks to the door, which happens to be the basement that they didn’t know about.
PERSON 2
I didn’t know there was a basement in this house? It wasn’t on the plans you showed us?
PERSON 1
Oh I haven’t been in there yet.
PERSON 3
Shall we go in there then?
PERSON 1
Lets finish unpacking first and then talk about it later over dinner?
INT. LIVING ROOM – EVENING
Friends having dinner in the evening and discussing whether they should go into the basement or not.
PERSON 2
Shall we check the basement out then?
PERSON 1
No! Don’t be daft. I don’t know what’s down there, it could be dangerous.
PERSON 3
Yeah, lets check it out; you’re not scared are you?
PERSON 1
Fine, lets go down there then.
INT. WALKING TOWARDS THE BASEMENT DOOR – EVENING
PERSON 1
Make sure you bring a torch.
PERSON 2 Opens door but the door immediately shuts and locks behind them.
PERSON 2
HELP! The door is locked, go and see if there is a spare key anywhere!
PERSON 3
Don’t go any further until we find a way to get you out.
PERSON 1 and PERSON 3 run back to the living room in order to find a key. The television loses signal and turns on to show their friend in the basement via a CCTV camera.
INT. BASEMENT
PERSON 2
I wish I never went down here. I’m scared.
Turns torch on and explore the basement. They shine the torch around the room and then back in the corner as they come across a doll.
Walks over to the doll and picks it up whilst the theme of one missed call plays.
INT. LIVING ROOM
CCTV footage of the friend in the basement plays on the television.
PERSON 1
What is she doing?
PERSON 2
Look, she has a doll, where did it come from?
PERSON 1
We need to help her!
INT. BASEMENT
PERSON 2 whilst looking into the dolls eyes gets a shiver throughout her body and this is where she gets possessed.
INT LIVING ROOM
The friends run back to the door, bang on it to see if she is okay when the door suddenly mysteriously opens. The two friends proceed to go down the stairs and see the friend sitting in the corner rocking back and forth.
PERSON 1
What’s happened to her?
PERSON 3
That doll is next to her too!
Friends walk over to her and try to help her up but she starts having a fit with her whole body shaking and her eyes rolling back. They then put her down to discuss her.
PERSON 1
She isn’t the same anymore.
PERSON 3
I’m scared!
PERSON 1
What’s happened to her?
PERSON 2 runs to the corner of the room while PERSON 3 walks over to the doll and picks it up, looks into its eyes and the one missed call theme tune plays again.
PERSON 1
Put it the doll down!
PERSON 2 runs from behind and grabs PERSON 3.
The trailer will end by a message appearing on the screen saying 'I told you not to go there'.
